5 Ways to Spruce Up your Space for Spring!

Patrick Tennant, our resident design guru, shares five helpful tips for adding a little spring to your space this season.

TIP ONE: Freshen up your pillow selection

Change out your pillows (Quick Note: you don’t have to buy a WHOLE pillow….who can store all those pillows?! Just switch out your pillow covers and use the same insert.)

Try adding a Peter Dunham pillow in green or yellow. Available from Hollywood at Home.

Or a brightly patterned Skinny laMinx pillow from Heath Ceramics.

TIP TWO: Add a new lamp shade

Switch up a lamp shade and bring some color to your room that coordinate with your new pillow covers!

Shades of Light offers a great selection of shades at affordable prices.

TIP THREE: Bring the outside inside

Bring some greenery inside with some potted plants….And make your pots fun too!

Try one of these planters from West Elm.

TIP FOUR: Paint a room

Not a small project, but try a new paint color for spring….maybe in a small room like your powder!

OR… you can always paint your front door for spring, too—not such a big project!

TIP FIVE: Paint a side table

Paint a piece of furniture to add some spring to your spring (however, if it is a beautiful stained piece, keep that paintbrush away!)
